With over 16 years of practical industry and business experience to her name (including the last 5 years as a board member for the Australian Institute of Conveyancers), this fun & friendly mother of one and ‘Friends’ enthusiast is on a mission to dispel the complicated industry jargon typically associated with property law; ensuring that a stress-free transfer of property is within everyone’s reach.

Our newest recruit, Veronica McFadden, brings an impressive 12 years of conveyancing experience to her role, plus a solid work history at a prominent law firm before that. Perfectly positioned to handle your transaction from start to finish, Veronica has an innate understanding of and empathy for the specific challenges that can arise along the way, and her greatest joy is to share in the happiness of her clients as they reach their goals. Outside of work, Veronica is a huge Green Day and Foo Fighters fan, and she cannot wait to return to the live music scene as social distancing restrictions start to ease.

With over 40 years of property law experience to her name, Carolyn Smith joined Emerald Conveyancing in 2016; bringing a wealth of knowledge with her. Carolyn’s number one priority with every client is to get their settlement across the line as easily and stress-free as possible, with a calm and warm demeanour that has not gone unnoticed. Carolyn was at the helm of PEXA training for Emerald Conveyancing when the industry transitioned to electronic settlements in 2018, and she remains a pillar of support & knowledge for the entire Emerald team. In her spare time, Carolyn enjoys being a busy and active grandmother to her six (6) grandkids!
